We sat inside a cute little coffee shop called Cafe del Doge...I had talked briefly to Christina over the phone and through several emails back-and-forth, so it was exciting to finally meet face-to-face and discuss their upcoming wedding that would be held in April out at a Golf Course in Gilroy, California. One of my favorite things about photography is meeting potential clients for the first time and getting to listen to their story and plans for their big day. Being once a Bride myself, I can definitely relate to all the planning chaos, but I also remember it being such a fun time. Chris & Christina were such a sweet couple and I could tell that they pay close attention to detail. They had lots of questions for me and I could tell that they wanted to be wise about their decision when choosing a photographer, which is such an important thing. I tell all of my potential clients that choosing the right photographer is key when planning their wedding because their images are the one thing that will last a lifetime. Your cake will get eaten up, your flowers will wither away, and the day will be done before you know it, so it is so important to have beautiful images to look back on to not only remember the day by, but to see the whole story play out again and again - remembering each moment like it was happening all over again. That's the beauty of a photograph...it will help you remember times that you have forgotten and in the same sense never want to forget. Here is a little peek at some images of Chris & Christina's engagement session held at The Rengstorff House & Stanford University.

Love all the little details!
Thanks, Joleen! I loved Christina's pink shoes, so made sure I got lots of close-ups of those. :)
