I am finally getting around to posting some pictures from our recent vacation to Vegas. Danny & I feel so blessed to have been able to go away for 7 days (ALONE - just the two of us), while my parents watched our 5 year old daughter, Kimberly & 2 year old son, Kyle. It was a much needed vacation and while we were on our vacation we celebrated our 7th anniversary being married. A lot of people have this idea of Vegas being "sin city", but if you've ever been for an extended trip you will see that Vegas is a good time. There is soooo much to do there & so many great restaurants. We stayed at an AMAZING new hotel that just opened last December called the
Aria. Words can't describe this hotel - it was simply stunning (to say the least). It has a city built around it, so they call it "City Center". Basically it's a city within a city and they went all out on it. We got to dine at some fabulous resturants -
Tao,
Olives,
Wolfgang Puck,
Todd English's PUB,
The Yard House, ect. We even got to meet up with our very good friend, Shaun, who is the cost manager at Mandalay Bay. His girlfriend is a manager over at
The M and they took us to a restaurant called Veloce Cibo, which overlooked all of Vegas. It was gorgeous & the food was delicious - definitely a favorite. We got to see two shows -
The "O" show by Cirque De Soleil (this show was AMAZING!), and
The Frank Caliendo Show (this guy is non-stop fun). All together is was a great trip. Here are just a few pictures of some of the fun...
Our Amazing Hotel (from the backside)
Some of the sights in and around City Center
The view from our room at the Aria
The Bellagio
The Bellagio's water show (we saw it 4 times - Loved It!)
The Paris (this is where I stayed the last time I was in Vegas)
City Nightlife...
The Cup inside Crystal's (City Center) - Best place to get bagels & smoothies. A bit pricey, but worth it!
