Digital Files - How it works

I've had a few inquires from clients recently about their digital files & how to use them.  That's a really great question as every photographer is probably different in the handling & process of digital files.  First let me start by saying, digital files are a beautiful thing.  For one, you can come back and look at all of your enhanced images from our session together years down the road, making them accessible at anytime.  Because I am a firm believer in digital files and you owning the rights to all of your images in your proofing gallery, I give my clients all their digital files on disc.  As my client, you shouldn't have to agonize over a 5x7 vs. an 8x10 - you should have all of your images, FOREVER.  I want you to be able to look back at those images years down the road & see something you may have forgotten was there.  And so that's why all of my clients will always receive their digital files on disc with the choice of being able to purchase boutique items as well.

As far as how to handle your digital files...All of my clients will receive a disc which will have "High Resolution Images", which are for printing purposes only, and "Web Resolution Images", which are for sharing via the web (Facebook, Myspace, Blog).  These images will be in separate folders making it easy on you.  Also, as my client, you will receive your disc in a beautiful customized CD case with the artists' (that's me) favorite photo from our session togeyher which will appear on the very front of the CD case & on the backside is where the official copyright release will appear so you'll be able to print your files as you wish.  Here's a little look at some of my recent clients' customized CD case.

All wrapped up & ready to go to the client!
