What I've been up to

Recently I've enjoyed shooting some AMAZING weddings & over this past weekend I got the chance to do another model shoot & have the girls model some vintage style hair pieces curtiousy of Maddie Lu's.  First off, the shoot went so well & I cannot wait to share all the images with you!  I had some gorgeous models who showed off Maddi Lu's hair accessories with style.  The sun hid behind a cloud the whole entire shoot, which made me happy, and the glowy light at sundown was so perfect - I really couldn't have asked for a better a shoot.  These girls were so much fun to hang out with & were just as excited about the shoot as I was!  They also were so patient as each girl had her own mini-shoot & endured weeds, red ants, and more.  Thank you girls for such a wonderful experience!

Secondly, Maddi Lu's...what can I say about these hair pieces except they are one of a kind.  I first saw them after receiving a "fan" request on Facebook & fell in love with them immediately.  Liz (the owner) adds such unique touches to each of her hair pieces & I have never seen anything like them before.  She was kind enough to lend 9 of her hair pieces for each girl to wear during my model shoot.  Each hair piece was so unique...some with colored feathers, lace, vintage styled buttons, and more.  Again, I cannot wait to post the images from the session so you can see just how amazing the hair pieces really are.

And lastly, I am getting ready to launch my new, and improved website & I couldn't be more excited for the change.  Don't get me wrong - I have loved my current website over the past two years, but felt it was time for a little makeover.  The website location will stay the same (www.erinmilnik.com), just the look of it will be different.  I am REALLY excited about the new magazine style of the website & can't wait to share it with you all!  For now, here is a little sneak peek of yesterday's session with the girls.  I chose this image of to share with you, because this hair piece was the favorite among the girls.  Stay tuned - more coming soon!
