I am really excited about this post! For one, I got to do a photo-shoot of this rad family and second, I got to do the shoot downtown - I love shooting in places that are "nitty-gritty"! Matt & Liz made it clear to me days before the photo-shoot that their style is very eclectic, so downtown area fit the style and look they were going for. Matt is the Worship & Production Arts Director at Yosemite Church (our home Church). When Danny & I first moved to Merced (6+ years ago), Yosemite Church was the first church we tried out and never left. We love it and have built some really great friendships from other YC goers, including Matt & Liz. So, I was super excited to do this maternity/family photo-shoot for them. We actually did two sessions - one downtown, and one in an open-field (that post to follow). Matt & Liz are expecting a baby girl, Camilyn at the end of October. They are thrilled to be having a girl and Cavin will no doubt make an excellent big brother. Here are some photos from their downtown shoot.
